Jeffrey John Hornacek (born May 3, 1963) is an American basketball assistant coach for the Houston Rockets and former player. He previously served as the head coach of the Utah Jazz (his final team) from 2011-2013, the Phoenix Suns from 2013–2016, and the New York Knicks from 2016–2018. After a two-year absence, Hornacek return to coaching with the Rockets.

On January 29, 2016, Suns have been defeat by Knicks. On February 1, he has been fired, and Earl Watson replaced him.
New York Knicks (2016–2018)[]
Replaced for Derek Fisher (2015–2016)[]
On June 2, 2016, Hornacek was named as the new head coach for the New York Knicks.
On April 12, 2018, the Knicks fired Hornacek after a 29–53 season.
Houston Rockets (2020-present)[]
On November 30, 2020, Hornacek was hired by the Houston Rockets as an assistant coach.
