The Pacific West Conference (known as the Pac West) is a conference participating in the NCAA's Division II. It was founded in 1992. The conference does not sponsor women's basketball, as none of the current member schools field women's teams. Former members MSU-Billings and Western New Mexico both have women's teams, which played as independents before joining the Heartland Conference in 2005.

Notre Dame (CA) is scheduled to join the Pac West for the 2006-07 season.
