Paul Anthony Pierce (born October 13,1977) is an American professional basketball player plays Shooting Guard and Small Forward for the Boston Celtics of the NBA. Pierce was drafted 10th overall in 1998 NBA Draft by the Celtics out of the University of Kansas.

Pierce was joined by NBA All-Stars Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett in 2007-08. This new "Big Three" helped Pierce win his first NBA Championship as a member of the Celtics.
