Foul Calling[]
Mr. Stern,
I want to start by saying how great of a job you have been doing as commissioner and I feel terrible making these comments but I feel they must be said.
Watching the playoffs this year I have been quite disappointed in the foul calling. First thing, what is with the excessive amounts of flagrant and technical fouls being given. The worst part is when they get downgraded the next day after the damage has been done. On the opposing side, why is there no consistency? The way that they have been called in some games, I can see areas where dozens more could have been called and again with the upgraded thing the next day when they have no effect on the game.
Second thing that has annoyed me more this year is the favoritism. Why do we have that? There should be no reason for it. It takes away from the game. It is matters such as this, where college basketball is much more enjoyable to watch.
I love the NBA, especially the playoffs and this year so far has been quite disappointing.
You have seen many more playoffs than I have and I hope you have noticed this as well.
